| Linear Magnetrons for Optical Applications |
 |
| Angstrom Sciences has successfully manufactured large custom linear magnetrons for telescope mirror coating applications. |
| |
Past projects have ranged in size from 55”-70” (1.4m – 1.8m) in length, coating telescope lenses up to 315” (8 m) in diameter.
These magnetrons were custom designed with gas inlet assemblies, shielding and shutter assemblies in order to meet strict uniformity specifications and operating conditions.
Our patented profiled magnet configuration, turbulent water-cooled designed, and robust construction combine to meet stringent requirements and create a successful tool for our customers.
Call Jason at 1.412.469.8466 to discuss how Angstrom Sciences can help you reach your coating requirements, or click here to request more information. Also, you can come visit us at the Astronomical Telescopes and Instrumentation show in Orlando this month. |
